I have bought this U2713H Rev A04 monitor early last year.
I have noticed that the USB ports on it were not working, but, did not mind as I did not need the ports at all.
In time erratic behavior arose such as flickering of the screen using the midiDP input. I t was occasional, and in time became frequent. I have switched to DP-DP connection and it went away.
Then one day I have discovered that the screen went blank for 3-4 seconds when I sneezed!!? I have tried to replicate this by producing loud noised like yelling or hand claps. Nothing happened, until the next sneeze that is.
Then the power button and other touch buttons started to refuse responding occasionally. Now I have to try turning the monitor on or off many times in order to the the monitor respond.
My system is running off a top notch APC online UPS with perfect grounding etc. My graphics card is FirePro 5000.
I have two other similar monitors from Samsung and Eizo. I have no problems withing the same PC with the exact same connections.
I am very disappointed with the problems that I have been experiencing. I have read many similar complaints regarding the USB issue, but, this power/menu issue has become a major hassle for me as I am using this monitor for my professional line of work.
Has anybody experienced same issues with me? Any suggestions please?
