I recently bought a new E2214H monitor and I'm trying to connect to my PS4 via an HDMI to DVI adapter. When I connect it, I can see that PS4 is sending some kind of a signal because screen is not black like when the monitor is waiting to go to sleep mode. Instead is brownish and it blinks every 5 seconds. When I start PS4 in safe-mode to make him adjust screen resolution by himself. My question is: What am I doing wrong? Since adapter must be working (I tried multiple and always getting the same result), monitor is new and HDCP compatible, and when I connect my PC via DVI it works normal.
