Just a pleasant update for Dell U2913WM owners. I was able to run the monitor at the highest resolution of 2560x1080 over a plain VGA cable off a Dell Latitude E4310 which is a pretty basic business laptop. I bought the monitor quite recently in Aug '13 so I don't know if Dell updated the firmware to allow this.
