I have recently purchased the AX510 Sound Bar for my U2412M Flat Panel Monitor so I can get sound from my Xbox One connected to the monitor through an HDMI to DVI dongle
I connected and powered on the Sound Bar, lights are on. The Xbox One is connected though the DVI port, and has no 3.5mm audio jacks on it.
There is no sound from the Xbox coming from the sound bar, though the Xbox is on and displayed on the monitor.
The monitor has no built in speakers or HDMI port, which is why I hade to purchase the dongle and sound bar peripheral.
How do I connect the sound bar to the monitor or Xbox so that it can receive audio? Have I made the wrong purchase?
