I have owned the P2414H for almost a year and have been very happy with it until now. However, over the past few weeks I have noticed that the backlight at the bottom of the monitor is uneven and is becoming more noticeably so, especially on lighter backgrounds. The settings I use are multimedia preset, 19 brightness and 75 contrast. The issue is lessened by increasing the brightness, but never disappears entirely. However, higher brightness is detrimental to image quality and painful to look at. I have tried running the LCD conditioning for 15 minutes and have done a factory reset with no improvement. The issue is extremely distracting when working, less so, but still noticeable with other uses. Would this constitute an issue worthy of a return?
