Hello, I´ve had this monitor for a couple of years. And a few weeks ago, an electrical problem broke my videocard (not the PSU, wich is weird), and from the videocard, it destroyed my TV (connected via HDMI), and my beloved Dell U3011 (plugedon the DVI connection).
The incident afected whis port, but the OSD of the monitor was working, so I bought a new videocard, connected it to the displayport and it worked fine. For a week :( .
Now when I connect it to the electricity, the power buttton lights up, and that´s it. Nothing else responds. (I think the USB ports work, but i have to double check that, I have it disconnected now and I don´t remeber exactly, but I am pretty sure they worked).
If anyone has any information about how to fix this, it would be great. I know its a hardware problem that probably needs to be fixed by an specialist, but I don´t think Dell offers support in my country (Argentina) anymore. Besides I brought the monitor from the USA.
Any information will be useful.
