U2713HM Backlight bleed issue at glancing angles

Judging from my description, and photos, do you think I should apply for an RMA?

I am especially thinking about one of the monitors announced features:

"Wide-angle viewing: Uncompromised color consistency across an ultra-wide viewing angle of 178°/178° gives you broad viewing flexibility and lets you collaborate easily."

I understand if this monitor meets the backlight uniformity specifications looking at it straight on (7" circle in the center), but should the backlight invade the 7" circle when looking at the monitor withing the wide-angle viewing specification of 178 degrees?

What you see in the pictures below are not reflections, it is the backlight dispersing at glancing angles, enough for you too see the light in a normal working position.

Reason line = Monitor model, short issue description

U2713HM, Backlight bleed issue. Weak blue/yellow direct backlight bleed, strong diffuse backlight bleed at glancing angles.

Resolution works ok.

* Full description of the monitor issue?

Holding my head down, looking directly at the monitor, I notice yellow/blueish backlight bleeding from the bottom corners. When sitting in a normal position, the bottom corners are very bright, at glancing angles the monitor is glowing, even lighting up the ceiling. For me working in a normal position, the light in the bottom corners is irritating. A person standing next to me have a hard time seeing the screen. When leaning back, watching the movie the problem is not as bad, since you are more directly in front of the monitor.
