Hi, I'm a photographer and am looking for a new standalone monitor as the limitations of my laptop's monitor are becoming more and more obvious the more experience I have.
I was looking at the U2412M monitor but it doesn't have an HDMI port, and the only display port in the XPS15Z is HDMI. The U
I am far from technical with regard to colour and resolution but it seems even with an adaptor there could be problems?
Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations of the best IPS monitor to go with my laptop to give accurate colours? My budget doesn't stretch to the $1,000+ price range of some other Dell monitors. I think 24" is enough.
On another note, basic question, but do I need to use my laptop keyboard/mouse (screen off) or can I buy another keyboard and have my laptop off to the side somewhere?
