Edit: Was trying to reply to one of the horizontal line posts but ended up creating my own thread. I only saw "New Post" which I assumed would not create a new thread because there's also a "New Thread" button. Tried to delete this post but nothing happened.

Just purchased one last week on sale and experienced the same problem. I've requested an exchange, though I'm not sure I should expect anything different. Thanks for posting this, using your photo it was easy to confirm I had the same problem.
