I purchased 2 S2240L monitors from the dell outlet and both arrived without the AC adapter required to power the monitor. It did include the standard power cable that I would assume plugs into the AC adapter, but that doesn't help me much. I called the support line initially and was told that the outlet monitors don't come with the cables . I knew this wasn't right especially since it was a required part to operate the thing. I tried the online chat and got someone to send me a cable kit for each monitor. This one included a usb2 cable, a usb3 cable, an Dvi cable, a vga cable, and a standard 3 prong power cable, but didn't include the one cable that I needed (the AC adapter). I replied to the customer care rep that I still didn't have what I needed and he asked ME for the part number. I don't know?? Isn't that his job? Anyway, does anybody have a) any advice on the part number for this monitor's AC adapter or b) have any tips for getting the right thing ordered? The user manual shows that the model numbers are Delta ADP-40DD BA as well as the Lite-on PA-1041-71TP-LF, but these are not the Dell part numbers.
Thanks in advance,
Nate
