I am using a dell U3014 for some month now through the Mini-DP Port for my desktop. Now I have a notebook with a DP Port and use the same monitor with the DP-Port.
Everything works fine but everytime I connect the notebook I have to change the input source. Not bad, but if I forget to put the input source back to Mini-DP than I receive Always a call from my wife when she wants to use the desktop ;-)
Is there no way to put the monitor in a "Scan mode" so that it search every time it gets power all of the input sources?
