Hi,
Yesterday I received my monitor Dell U2413 purchased directly with Dell (Brazil). I pass some hours trying to make the monitor works with my unsupported MacBookPro Retina 15" (Late 2013) with a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048MB.

I know, Dell don't make tests with Apple hardware. BUT, the seller never ask me if I have a PC or a Mac, and Dell don't warning about possibles incompatibilities. The problem: When I turn on the monitor, I get a DVI image on top left corner for 2 seconds, the lights of the monitor controls turn on too, for check, and turn off two seconds after. So I get a blank screen with the box "NO DVI-D CABLE", and a message about Power Save in five minutes.
The Setup:
MBP Retina mDP out --> U2413 Dell mDP to DP cable (far left)
MBP Retina USB 3.0 port --> Dell USB upstream cable (I tested with and without this cable)
The Setup 2:
MPB Retina HDMI --> U2413 HDMI to HDMI cable (the works fine on TV and Apple TV)
In all setups, I get the complete info of U2413 on Mac OS X 10.9.3 Display Preferences. In my Mac apparently the U2413 is 100% recognize. BUT, in the monitor, still show me the NO DVI-D message. I read some topics with similar problem:

The solutions on theses topics makes nothing to me, hold power button, etc. I never got the OSD Menu, just the first button works for me, the exit button. I can't change the Input Source to active DisplayPort input that I think it should work automatically when I plug the only the mDP --> DP cable. Please, help me with this problem. I waited a lot for the monitor, and I do not want to have to return it and by one from another company that was oficial Mac support.
Thanks.
