My Dell UltraSharp 3007WFP-HC 30" Widescreen LCD Monitor suddenly went black today, without any prior warning. If I turn it on with the monitor cable connected the on/off button is blue for a second before it goes red. If I remove the monitor cable the monitor displays a lot of different colors. I can not get into OSD, it says in the manual that it is done by pushing the plus or minus button, but nothing is happening. The USB connections connected through the monitor works apparently.
I currently have no other cable, video card, pc or monitor to test with so the problem might not be the monitor. Do you believe it is the monitor or something else? Is there anything more I can test with the equipment I have here? How can I find out what is wrong?
