I'm having similar issues. While chaining 3 monitors the first monitor in the chain remains blank, but only after many power cycles and it's inconsistent at best. If the last monitor in the chain has DP 1.2 enabled, that monitor is also blank. Sometimes I get a blue screen of death when opening the NVIDIA control panel. I'm on a brand new Dell M6800 with an NVIDIA Quadro K3100M, which definitely supports chaining. I've done driver updates from Dell's site, no help. I've swapped out the Dell provided MiniDP to DP cables for beafy DP to DP cables, no help. I've reboot the laptop, unplugged the monitors, ran in safe mode, ran with minimal processes, no help. It seems everyday it's a different story. Here it's saying the cables are bad (even after trying new cables)

Here it's showing the first monitor as another branching device(this is where the 2nd and 3rd monitor actually work)

We are returning these and going with the P2714H, or maybe something from a different manufacturer if available with the small bezel. Dell, take this seriously.
