* Full description of the monitor issue?
I recently ordered two U2414H monitors directly from Dell. They both look pretty good, but unfortunately one of them has a very annoying problem - the two outer buttons are extremely unreliable and nearly unusable - it typically takes 10 or so touch tries before they will recognize the touch and activate. As you can imagine this is extremely frustrating and makes it very difficult to adjust things on the monitor. Please watch the video above so you can see how bad it is. How do I fix this? Will I need a replacement from Dell?
The second issue I am running into is that the monitors are slightly off in terms of color. Although I have both running on the factory-calibrated sRGB profile, one of them is slightly more pink (or the other one slightly more green) than the other. I tried to measure the difference as best as possible using a digital camera, and I came out with a DeltaE of 3.0. This is within spec and pretty low so I'm not too upset about this, but I'm wondering if there's a way to tweak the SRGB profile as I can still notice the difference. Mainly I just want to adjust the white balance of one to match the other. Here's a picture, which I did my best to match to what the difference actually looks like using an independent display:
How can I tweak this without losing the rest of the factory calibrated sRGB profile?
Thank you for the help.
